About Me
My name is Robert Sinclaire, and this is my little corner of the net. I’ve been an Internet, computer, and technology enthusiast for many years. I’ve designed, owned, and maintained several websites and have a true passion for cyberculture. I created skyecade online as a place for me to vent, connect, express, share, journal, report, and simply write whatever it is I feel like writing. Below is all the information you would ever want to know about me, and some that you probably wouldn’t.
This page is constantly updated to reflect my ever changing lifestyle.
General Info
I live in New England with my daughter, just outside of Boston. Some of my interests include writing, programming, gaming, blogging, photography, movies, web 2.0, technology, the Internet, Russian, meditation, self-improvement (mind, body, and soul), history, music and, of course, my little angel. I enjoy good wine and good cigars (don’t kid yourself, they don’t have to be that good). I’m an avid runner and an aspiring health nut, though I’m not quite there yet. I love large bodies of water, mainly oceans and lakes, but I’ll settle for a large pond from time to time. My favorite time of the year is autumn, and my favorite month is October. I love green tea, science fiction, and my MacBook. Is that enough information? Oh, my favorite color is blue, though you would have never guessed that while looking at this website.
Contact Me
I could possibly be the easiest person to find on the planet. I am almost always connected to the Net in some way or another.
You can email me at skyecade[at]gmail.com
or try me on one of these IM services:
I prefer Google Talk, but I’m usually logged on to all the above via Adium or Pidgin, so take your pick.
My GrandCentral phone number is 508-203-4302. If I’m not there, shoot me a message. This number is forwarded to wherever I am at any given moment.
I can occasionally be found on Freenode’s IRC server @ irc.freenode.com under the username skyecade. I connect using X-Chat since it’s cross platform. I also set up a web-based IRC chatroom over at Zen Geeks. Just click the “Chat Room” link in the menu bar and off you go.
I also have a Ventrilo voice server set up for all Zen Geeks members. All the info is on the ZG boards. You’ll have to sign up to use it, but after that it’s all yours. See you there.
And if also else fails, you can still find me around the net.
Around the Net
I’m kind of a web 2.0 junkie and I love trying out new Internet start-ups. Unfortunately, there are too many to use all the time. Below are the ones that have actually stuck over the years and that I use on a regular basis. Click on one of the logos to go directly to my profile for that service.
If you use any of these services, feel free to add me. I always love meeting new people.

“I spend a considerable amount of time connected to the online world. Delving deep into the dark corners of the net, I sift through a seemingly infinite supply of databases searching for raw data, information, and enlightenment. The internet is evolving into an almost organic state. A state in which the collective intelligence of the human race exists in one place for the very first time in history. A place that has the potential to change the world as we know it, for better or for worse.“
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day.
